The company had reported a standalone net loss of Rs 64.96 crore for the same quarter a year ago, Videocon Industries said in a BSE filing.
The company's net sales during the quarter under review increased marginally to Rs 3,079.27 crore as against Rs 3,073.47 crore in the same quarter last year.
Its revenue from consumer electronics and home appliances segment increased by 2.15 per cent to Rs 2,851.30 crore and revenue from crude oil and natural gas segment declined 19.46 per cent to Rs 234.41 crore.
Meanwhile, in a separate filing to BSE, Videocon Industries informed that its board has recommended a dividend of Rs 2 per equity share to non-promoter shareholders.
