Canvassing for Vaiko, contesting the April 24 polls from Virudhunagar, Vijaykanth, in his own interactive style, said,"people still should not be believing the AIADMK and the DMK."
With Vaiko standing behind him in an open van, he asked them for whom they will vote. "Who is your candidate, what is his symbol ? he repeatedly asked to which the gathering roared back saying Vaiko's name and MDMK's "top" symbol.
Referring to Vaiko as "Annan" (elder brother), he said, "vote for Vaiko and sink differences be it caste or whatever.
