Vijayamma ends fast over tuition fees reimbursement issue

YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) Honorary President Y S Vijayamma today concluded her two-day fast undertaken for effective implementation of students' tuition fees reimbursement scheme in Andhra Pradesh.
"The Congress government has failed to effectively implement the scheme launched by late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy to make higher education accessible to poorer sections of the society," she alleged.
A large number of students and supporters of YSRCP visited the Indira Park, the venue of the protest.
The state Congress, however, alleged that the two-day protest of the YSRCP leader is only aimed at gaining political mileage.
