After a slew of horror movies, filmmaker Vikram Bhatt has decided to venture into comedy, which would star 'Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey' actress Vishakha Singh.
Vishakha played a prominent role in the Ashutosh Gowariker film, based on the Chittagong uprising alongside Abhishek Bachchan and Deepika Padukone.
She will be next seen in Vikram's 'Ankur Arora Muder Case' which will release next month following which she will be doing a comedy with him.
"I will be doing a comedy for Vikram. It is quite an interesting film. Comedy is a sure shot formula to win the hearts of audience. I am excited about it," Vishakha told PTI.
The actress has been doing films down south in Tamil and Telugu. And now she has three Hindi films lined up for release including 'Fukrey' and 'Bhajathe Raho'.
In 'Ankur Arora Murder Case' written and produced by Bhatt, she plays a doctor. It is a medical thriller directed by Suhail Tatari and stars Tisca Chopra, Kay Kay Menon and Paoli Dam in lead roles.
"The medical terms are quite tricky and we had tough time pronouncing them correctly. But we did have a doctor on sets who helped us," Vishakha said.
The film takes up an urgent and disturbing issue of death during surgery and is based on a real-life incident where a boy dies on the operation table due to medical negligence.
"It was quite challenging to do this film as I kept crying most of the time," she said.
