VIT University donates Rs one crore to AP Govt

: VIT University has donated over Rs one crore to Andhra Pradesh Government toward Cyclone Hud Hud relief measures which ravaged several districts in the region.
VIT University Founder-Chancellor Dr G Viswanathan handed over a demand draft to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, a VIT press release said here.
"We would like to express profound grief at the loss of lives, property and crops in Vishakapatnam due to recent cyclone Hud Hud. Majority of our students at VIT University are from Andhra Pradesh and we would like them to know that we are here for them in their time of loss", Viswanathan said.
