Warm day in Delhi as mercury shoots up

Delhiites experienced a warm day today as the mercury shot up to 29.7 degrees Celsius, settling four notches above the season's average.
According to the MeT department, today's maximum was three notches up from yesterday's 26.7 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature was recorded as 9.1 degrees Celsius, one notch above the normal.
Humidity in air oscillated between 90 and 33 per cent.
The MeT department has predicted clear skies for tomorrow. "The sky will remain mainly clear tomorrow. There will be mist and shallow fog in the morning. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 29 degrees and 10 degrees Celsius, respectively," a MeT official said.
