A court here today issued a warrant against an IAS officer, who was earlier posted here as the district magistrate and against whom a case was registered under the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
Additional District and Sessions judge Satyendra Pandey issued the warrant against Pankaj Dixit, currently posted as the district magistrate of Rohtas.
A complaint was lodged against Dixit by District Statistical Officer Surendra Kumar Suman.
In his complaint, Suman had alleged that Dixit used abusive language and casteist slurs while talking to him last year.
The IAS officer was shifted to Rohtas during a massive administrative reshuffle in Bihar in April.
