The Oscar-nominated film, with Rao in the lead role, will also be screened at the Madhuban police centre in the state in the presence of the chief minister.
Principal Secretary to chief minister Rajesh Khullar said Khattar has urged the newly-recruited policemen to watch the movie to motivate them to perform their duties honestly and dedicatedly.
'Newton' is a Bollywood movie based on the story of a government clerk who performs his duties with full dedication and sincerity.
"It gives a good message to the society as it is based on a story of bringing out a change in the system by removing the shortcomings and encouraging people to discharge their duties honestly," Rao said.
