The supply of water to Gang Nahar has been stopped due to silt coming with the water because of rains in Haridwar.
It will not be possible to supply water to Gangajal Treatment Plant from tomorrow, said Project Manager of the plant.
Officials in Noida and Ghaziabad have been informed about the development and they have been asked to make alternative arrangements, he said.
He said till the time water is not released from Haridwar into Gang Nahar, there will be no supply of water from the plant.
Till the plant reopens, municipal corporation tubewells will supply water to the affected colonies.
He said Noida gets 20 cusec from the plant, while Sahibabad gets 30 cusec.
