New Zealand played two warm-up games in Mumbai on March 10 and 12 followed by their opening fixture against India at Nagpur on March 15. They then travelled up north to Dharamsala to play Australia on March 18 before meeting Pakistan on March 22 at Chandigarh.
From Chandigarh, the Black Caps flew down to the eastern part of India to Kolkata for their last game against Bangladesh on March 26 before landing in Delhi yesterday evening.
Williamson was asked the question about their travel schedule compared to England and there was laughter all around as the soft-spoken New Zealand skipper displayed his sense of humour.
"It's great that we have been able to see more of India than most opposition sides! It's one of those things. Surely it happened just by coincidence. Guys embraced that. They embraced the flights and embraced the variety of hotels," Williamson said, the sarcasm in his answer was not lost on anyone.
