Jan Samvad, one of the 20 sub-committees formed by BJP Election Campaign Committee chief Narendra Modi, is aimed at encouraging people's participation. It had launched a website www.Jansamvad2014.In to get feedback from the people.
BJP General Secretary Dharmendra Pradhan, who heads the sub-committee, claimed in a statement that e-mail invitations to over 60,000 people have been sent.
"The success of Jan Samvad can be gauged from the fact that almost immediately about 10,000 people have visited the portal and so far around 3,000 persons have participated in a feedback survey- in both Hindi and English- on the website within the first week itself," the statement said.
Jan Samvad (dialogue with the people) is voluntary and participative nature in which a core group of professionals, researchers, analysts, media professionals among others, are undertaking all activities on a voluntary basis.
