: A woman and her two-year-old daughter were killed on the spot and six persons injured when two cars collided at Mettupalayam in the district,police said.
The occupants of both cars were returning to their homes after visiting different temples when the mishap occurred, they said.
The injured have been admitted to the Mettupalayam Government hospital, police said.
