Pinky Devi, resident of Roat Fantyana Magh in Marmat tehsil of Doda district, last evening went to the Khareeri hill with her cattle and allegedly jumped from a hill top, they said.
According to the family and police, Pinky left her house at 6.00 PM after some altercation with family.
After receiving the information, locals rushed to the spot and also informed police.
"We retrieved the body at 8.30 PMand sent it to Primary Health Center Goha for postmortem, we are in process of collecting the evidence about the actual cause of death," In-charge of police post Goha, Sub-Inspector Firdous Ahmed said.
"We will hand over the body to her family members by this evening," the officer said.
