The woman, whose identity is yet to be ascertained, died on spot and 10 others were injured when they were hit by the truck while crossing the National Highway in Binaura locality, Station Officer Khairabad M L Gupta said.
Of those injured, condition of 2 is stated to be critical, he said, adding, the injured have been admitted to the district hospital and toll may rise.
The truck was later impounded in Sidhauli locality, but the driver has fled, he said.
