Woman killed by husband in Haryana

A woman was allegedly stabbed to death by her husband after an altercation in Jhandu colony here, police said today.
"Mahavir killed his wife Saroj when she refused to give him money for alcohol," police said.
The accused was an alcoholic, who used to beat his wife and children regularly, they added.
Mahavir is absconding.
An FIR has been registered against him and investigation into the matter is on, police said.
