According to the complaint filed by the victim's father, the woman was strangled to death on Tuesday by her husband and in-laws for not giving them dowry, they said.
The woman, who was married three months ago, was being harassed by her in-laws for dowry, police said, adding, they demanded Rs 2 lakh cash and a motor-cycle.
An FIR has been filed in this regard against the victim's husband and other family members who are absconding and the matter is being investigated, police added.
