The woman, Sakshi Parikh, a housewife who also suffered injuries, has been arrested.
The mishap occurred at about 11 AM at Mahavir Nagar in suburban Kandivali when her Honda City car rammed into a motorcycle and subsequently an auto-rickshaw, they said.
The biker was critically injured, police said, adding the rickshaw driver and two passengers travelling in his vehicle sustained injuries and were rushed to nearby Bhagwati Hospital.
Parikh (31) has also suffered minor injuries, said Deputy Commissioner of Police Mahesh Patil. "The housewife says she accidentally pressed the accelerator instead of breaks which led to the accident," the DCP added.
