The victim, working as an assistant with a Delhi-based advocate, wanted to rent a flat and had approached one Parmal in this regard.
On Friday, the dealer showed her some flats in Raj Nagar extension area and then took her to Muradnagar to show some more houses, SP (Rural Area) Rakesh Pandey said.
He then took her to a hotel on Delhi-Meerut Road and raped her there, Pandey said.
The victim immediately reported the matter to police, who rushed to the spot and arrested Parmal. A case has been registered against the accused under Section 376 (rape) of IPC, police said.
