In his judgement yesterday, the additional district and session court judge Rajesh Chandra Gupta sentenced Priya, aged about 25 years, to life imprisonment for killing her sons three-year-old Dhruv and one-and-a-half-year-old Aditya by suffocating them with a pillow on October 4, 2013 and burying their bodies.
The incident came to light when Priya's husband filed an FIR, eight days after the crime was committed.
She was awarded life sentence under section 302 of IPC for the double murder, the judge said.
