Women's Day: DCW to honour people with Achievement Awards
The even will be held in the Capital on March 8, the International Women's day.
"Besides awarding deserving women and girls, men who helped or supported women will also be recognised for their efforts. There are many ordinary people who have done extraordinary things and have helped women, will also receive the DCW Achievement Award," the commission said.
The event is likely to be attended by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Union Women and Child Development Minister Maneka Gandhi and US Ambassador to India Richard Verma.
