"Woodland is soon going to venture into Water Sports with a series of products, including kayaks and surfing boards", Managing Director, Harkirat Singh, today said.
To leverage this, the brand has associated with the three day "The Malabar River Festival", being held at Kozhikode from tomorrow to mark their aggressive entry beyond land into the water adventure segment.
"Woodland has always followed the tradition of promoting outdoor and adventure sports worldwide and at the same time provides a platform for adventure enthusiast, reinforcing the Woodland brand mantra, Explore More", a release quoting Singh said.
Sensing great potential in Water Sports, the brand had recently partnered in the India Surfing Festival that happened in Odissa and have plans to actively promote this sport as well as category.
"Kerala is a hub for water sports in the country and what can be bigger than the Malabar River Festival that invites participation from professionals across the Globe", singh said.
"Max Benetton is a face to International kayaking. Also known as 'la Bomba', (meaning "the bomb"in Italian). Max is the strongest freestyle kayaker Italy has ever produced and we are proud to have him on-board as one of the elite ambassadors for our World-Class Ambassador programme', singh said.
