Writing children's books made David Williams feel isolated

David Williams says writing his debut novel "The Boy in the Dress" left him feeling tearful.
The 45-year-old actor, who released his book 2008, said during the creative process he felt isolated, reported Female First.
"Writing books is lonely and demoralising and you're often in tears," Williams said.
The funnyman said he enjoyed penning the script for the comedy sketch show "Walliams and Friends" more.
"I wasn't in tears writing this. I had a good time. I just wanted to do a sketch show. It's actually quite hard doing sketch shows on your own.
