"The Akhilesh Yadav government has become a liability. It has worked to loot the public exchequer all these years and what we are seeing now is a fight over this booty, these spoils of power," BJP National Secretary Shrikant Sharma said.
Referring to the Mathura violence and mining scandal, he said the chief minister cannot dissociate himself from these events and his accountability has to be more as he is also the home minister.
If he is reinstated as per the reports, then it is clear that what has been witnessed in the ruling party is also a part of scripted drama, he alleged.
