Young married couple killed by woman's father in UP

A young married couple in Mahoba district of Uttar Pradesh were killed allegedly by the woman's father, who was upset over their marriage.
The victims have been identified as Chandrabhan (24) and Kajal (22), who had had recently marriage out of their own choice, police said.
The incident took place last night in Bilrahi village in Srinagar area, when the two persons were sleeping, and her father Uttam Singh attacked them with a sharp-edged weapon, police here said.
The woman's father, a resident of Shyamsingh Kheda village in adjoining Chatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh, was not happy with the marriage, had come to his daughter's house and after killing the duo fled the place, police said, adding, the search is on to nab the accused.

Mahoba is about 230 kms from capital city of Lucknow.
