The Pakistan Cricket Board said today that the national selectors had only added Younis Khan's name to the squad which was announced for the first Test.
"Younis has been added to the squad for the second Test," a PCB spokesman said.
Younis, who had to be hospitalised for treatment of dengue fever, had to sit out the first Test on doctor's advice but is now in line to play in the second match.
Younis, who turns 39 next month, requires another 544 runs to become the first Pakistani batsman to make 10,000 Test runs having already scored 32 centuries.
Younis said that he had enjoyed the triple hundred by Azhar Ali in the ongoing first Test and.
"I have no targets in mind right now but with two Tests ahead of me I am hoping to get some runs and be prepared for the tours to New Zealand and Australia later this year," he said.
