Judge Manoj Kumar Mishra yesterday convicted Rinku (22) and his friend Devender (21) under relevant sections of IPC for abducting and raping the minor girl in 2011.
The duo was also imposed a fine of Rs 22,000 each.
According to the prosecution, Rinku along with his friend Devender abducted the victim. Rinku then raped her. The girl was later rescued from their custody.
In another case, a local court acquitted 13 persons in a murder case due to lack of evidence.
As per the prosecution, Babbar, a truck cleaner, was allegedly abducted and murdered at Purkazi in the district in 2007.
The body was found later and the accused were arrested.
But the prosecution failed to prove their involvement in the crime.
