However Malik's mother said an official date is yet to be finalised, reported Daily Mirror.
"Perrie is a lovely girl and I get on really well with her. They're thinking of the end of next year, although no date has yet been set yet," Trish said.
She also revealed that her family will travel to London to to celebrate Christmas with Zayn and Perrie this year.
"I will cook the dinner. Perrie and her mother will be there and we'll open presents, play games and stuff our faces," she said.
