Zensar inks deals worth Rs 100 crore

IT services firm Zensar Technologies today said it has bagged new multi-million dollar deals in the US and Europe.
"Zensar's business in our key markets of USA, UK, Europe and Africa continues to be robust with new wins in these territories in both our core businesses, enterprise application services and infrastructure management," Zensar Technologies Vice Chairman and CEO Ganesh Natarajan said in a statement.
The deals signed include one with a multi-billion dollar American enterprise that designs and builds trucks and military vehicles as well as a dual shore IM deal with an existing American client.
"Our strategies for new client acquisition, and for supersizing deals in the US region have begun to show significant traction helping provide the necessary boost to sales," Zensar Chief Executive and Head Enterprise Transformation Business Nitin Parab said.

Tesco HSC appoints Glen Attewell as Chief Executive Officer * Tesco Hindustan Service Centre (Tesco HSC), the global technology and operations centre for retail giant Tesco, today said it has appointed Glen Attewell as its CEO.
He succeeds Sandeep Dhar, who spent over five years as CEO and is leaving the business,Tesco HSC said in a statement.
In this role, Attewell will work closely with the leadership team to continue the journey of Tesco HSC in becoming a fully integrated part of Tesco's multichannel strategy.
He will report to Alison Horner, Group Personnel Director, who serves on the Tesco Executive Committee.
Previously, Attewell was a Commercial Director at Tesco's Homeplus business in Korea. He has been with Tesco for 28 years in UK and other international roles.

Tata Tech sponsors team in T1 Prima Truck Racing Championship * Tata Technologies, a provider of engineering services and manufacturing enterprise IT, today said it will sponsor a team at India's first T1 Prima Truck Racing Championship.
The event will be held on March 23 under the aegis of Federation Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) and Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI).
Tata Technologies Motorsports team of two Prima trucks will be steered by David Jenkins and Brain Burt.
The championship will feature 12 Tata Prima trucks in a pack of six teams and will see participation from experienced international drivers drawn from the British Truck Racing Association (BTRA), UK and European Truck Racing Championship grids.
