ZP presidents, panchayat samiti heads in Maha get hefty hike

The monthly honorarium of zilla parishad presidents has been increased from Rs 5,000 to Rs 20,000 while ZP vice presidents will now get Rs 15,000 instead of Rs 4000 at present, they said.

Similarly, heads of committees in Zilla Parishads will get Rs 12,000 per month instead of Rs 4,000.

Panchayat samiti chairpersons' honorarium stands increased to Rs 10,000 from Rs 3000 while deputy chairperson will be entitled to receive Rs 8000 against Rs 1,500.
