Faf du Plessis played a captain's knock, scoring 96 and playing almost throughout the innings to lead his side to a very competitive total of 181-6 at the end of the first innings. In the second innings, it was Australian Josh Hazlewood who shone with the ball, picking four wickets for only 25 runs in his four overs as Royal Challengers Bangalore registered their fifth win in the tournament in seven matches, beating Lucknow Super Giants by 18 runs at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.
