He got to his fifty in just 33 balls and added a crucial 115 for the first wicket alongside RCB skipper Faf du Plessis. In total, Kohli hit eight fours and two sixes.

He scored 73 off 54 balls to chase down 169 against Gujarat Titans, the table toppers. With this win, the Bangalore side now stay alive in the race to the Playoffs and would pray that Mumbai Indians beat Delhi Capitals or Rajasthan lose big time to Chennai Super Kings for them to be able to finish either three or four in the Points Table.
