Acting on a tip-off, a police team raided a place near canal bridge here and nabbed four persons who were planning to commit a robbery, SSP Narendra Bhargav said.
A pistol with three cartridges and two swords were recovered from their possession, he said.
The arrested persons told their interrogators that they had stolen seven LCDs from an SBI branch in Garhshankar recently, the SSP said.
They also told police they were involved in theft of five cars and two motorcycles in Punjab and Himachal Pradesh, he said.
