L&T bags Rs 5100-crore order for power plant
The company has secured the order for setting up a 1320 MW plant in Madhya Pradesh
Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured a turnkey order worth Rs 5,100 crore for setting up a 1320 MW supercritical thermal power plant project at Shree Sinaji TPP (Stage-II) on complete engineering-procurement construction basis from the state utility MP Power Generating Company Limited (MPPGCL).
The project order includes design, engineering, manufacture, supply, errection and commissioning of two coal-fired thermal units of 660 MW each with supercritical parameters.
The project plant is situated near village Dongalia in the Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh.
