The plastic products maker Astral Poly Technik has reported nearly 400 bps decline in operating profit margin at 12% during the quarter ended September 2014 (Q2), due to higher raw material and employee cost. Astral Poly Technik had recorded EBTIDA margin at 15.6% in same quarter last fiscal.
However, the company’s net profit was up 27.6% to Rs 20.69 crore mainly on account of lower foreign exchange loss. Net sales also was a growth of 18.8% to Rs 303 crore against Rs 255 crore in the corresponding quarter of last year.
