Mueller Industries Inc has acquired Calgary (Canada) based companies - PexCor Manufacturing Company Inc and HeatLink Group Inc – that produce and sell a complete line of products for PEX plumbing and radiant systems.

“We are especially pleased to advise that the companies' founders, Manfred and Garry Schmidt, will continue to lead the businesses and seek to expand the technical capabilities and geographical reach of PexCor & HeatLink systems,” said Mueller Industries in a press release.

The acquisitions support Mueller's strategic plan to grow and strengthen its flow control product offerings in the area of pressure plastics.

Headquartered in Memphis, Mueller Industries Inc is an industrial manufacturer that specialises in copper and copper alloy manufacturing while also producing goods made from aluminium, steel, and plastics. The company comprises a network of operations in the US, Canada, Mexico, UK, South Korea, and China.
