Adani Green crosses 12GW renewable capacity, added 275 MW solar project

Adani Green Energy (AGEL) on Friday said its total operational renewable energy generation capacity has increased to 12,258.1 MW with the commissioning of an additional 275 MW of solar power project at Khavda, Gujarat. According to the statement, with the commissioning of this plant, AGEL's total operational renewable generation capacity has increased to 12,258.1 MW. Based on the relevant clearances, it was decided on February 27, 2025 to operationalize the plant and commence power generation from February 28, 2025, it added. According to a company statement, AGEL, India's largest renewable energy (RE) company has surpassed a record 12,000 megawatts (MW) of operational portfolio. With 50 Mw plant in UP, Adani Group's solar capacity rises to 838 Mw

Integrated infrastructure conglomerate, Adani Group on Tuesday announced commissioning of a 50 Mw solar PV plant in Mahoba, Uttar Pradesh, under the National Solar Mission Scheme, with an investment of Rs 315 crore.In a first, the plant sees use of String Inverter Technology with crystalline silicon modules that allows miniature level control of solar power generation. Power generated by the Mahoba plant will be evacuated by 132kv transmission line that runs up to a stretch of 21.5 km to UPTCL, Mahoba Substation under agreement signed with NTPC. The project has seen indirect and direct employment opportunities being created for a total of around 250 personnel.
