Adani Airport Holdings Ltd has entered into a collaboration with AIONOS for implementing an artificial intelligence-driven system to provide personalised passenger experience at airports. AIONOS, part of InterGlobe Enterprises, will provide a consistent engagement experience and personalised multilingual support for passengers. Both companies signed a deal in the national capital on Thursday. "The AI-driven solution will act as a 24x7 intelligent concierge, helping travellers access flight updates, gate information, baggage status, directions and airport services instantly in multiple languages," a release said. The services will be offered in English, Hindi and other languages. With AIONOS' agentic AI platform, Adani Airports will be able to engage with customers and staff across multiple touchpoints, including voice, chat, and mobile. A joint venture of InterGlobe Enterprises and Canadian flight simulation firm CAE on Tuesday announced plans to set up a pilot training centre in the financial capital as it looks to cash in on the boom in the domestic aviation sector and to cater to the increasing demand for cockpit crew in the country. The new facility centre, to be spread over a 44,000 square-foot area, will have a capacity for up to six full-flight simulators (FFS). It will begin operations in the first quarter of CY 2026 with two Airbus A320 FFS, CAE Simulation Training Pvt Ltd (CSTPL) said. The JV already operates three commercial aviation training centres, one each in Greater Noida, Gurugram and Bengaluru, with a capacity of up to 23 FFS. The new facility will also offer comprehensive pilot training programmes on Airbus, ATR and Boeing aircraft, including type rating, recurrent training, and proficiency checks. InterGlobe Hotels will invest around Rs 550 crore to set up two new properties in Mumbai and Bengaluru by 2025, its President and CEO JB Singh said on Thursday. The company -- a 60:40 joint venture between InterGlobe Enterprises Pvt Ltd and Accor Asia Pacific -- opened its new 'ibis Styles' hotel here and plans to open a new property under the 'ibis' brand in Mumbai by the end of next year, followed by the launch of a new hotel under the Novotel brand in Bengaluru early 2025. "This (ibis Styles Vagator) becomes the 23rd ibis (property in India), but as a portfolio, we are at 28 hotels, with this and two to open (which are) under active development. The ibis in Mumbai will open sometime late next year and the Novotel in Bangalore within 2-4 months of that or early 2025," Singh told PTI here. A proposal by InterGlobe Enterprises, the Gurugram-based parent of the IndiGo airline, for travel benefits to the two independent directors (IDs) on its board and their family has caught the eye of a proxy advisory firm.Stakeholders' Empowerment Services (SES) has objected to the plan and asked shareholders to vote against the move in a postal ballot that is currently open and closing this Tuesday. The company is seeking shareholder approval for unlimited free tickets, for leisure purposes, to the two IDs, Devadas Mallya Mangalore and Anupam Khanna, and their family members (spouse and dependent children) in the ballot. SES contends Section 197(7) of the Companies Act does not allow any such payment to IDs.
