Gujarat State Fertilizers to shutdown ammonia plant for maintenance
The Urea II plant will also undergo shutdown, which is likely to last for 12 days

Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd will shut down its Ammonia-IV plant for 12 days starting from August 24, 2014 to undertake maintenance work. Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals has informed BSE that the company’s Ammonia-IV plant shall undergo shut down for a period of 12 days from August 24, 2014 with a view to attend the Isothermal Shift Reactor (ISR), which has developed minor technical problem and upon resolution, the said plant would come back into the mainstream. During the period the Urea II plant will also undergo shutdown.
