A manufacturing unit of Sharon Bio-Medicine Ltd, a manufacturer of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and formulations, at Taloja, Maharashtra, caught fire on June 3, 2014. Sharon Bio-Medicine has informed BSE that a fire has erupted in one of its APIs and intermediate pant located at Taloja, Maharashtra, on June 3, 2014. It added that no human loss has been reported except for the stock, material and capital loss.
