Kabra Extrusiontechnik forms JV with Italy's Penta SRL

Kabra Extrusiontechnik Ltd (KET), a part of Kolsite group, has entered into a 50:50 joint venture with Italy-based Penta SRL, a Piovan Group company that is engaged in manufacturing and distribution of auto feeding systems. This is the first joint venture established by Penta as Piovan Group has been operating through subsidiaries across the world.  
 
The JV company, which is proposed to be named as Penta Systems India Ltd, will set up a plant for manufacturing and trading (including the supply of after-sales services) of auto feeding systems for the plastics and food processing industries.
 
With the new joint venture, Kabra Extrusiontechnik is aiming to further strengthen its presence in plastic industry and explore new opportunity in the food processing industry.
 
Penta has seven production facilities, 24 subsidiaries and 70 distributors across the world. Penta’s products and solutions are targeted to PVC dry blend manufacturers and compounders within the extrusion sector. Its product range include silos, storage units, debagging units, conveying systems, filters, sieves, pneumatic and mechanical extruder feeding, plant supervision systems. They also supply automatic turbo-mixer feeding system for PVC resin, titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate, fillers, stabilisers, additives, modifiers, liquid plasticisers and pigments, as well as feeding systems for extrusion plants.
