VHCL Industries, a global distributor of plastics and other commodities, has bagged a new export order worth Rs 20.5 crore from a customer to supply 2670 metric tonnes of compounded ‘recycled plastic granules’ over a period of nine months, starting September 2015.

VHCL Industries, which is involved primarily in the polymer business – plastic recycling, claims to be the single largest polymer recycling company. With its manufacturing facility located at Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli, the company is planning to expand its exports business in order to improve its performance in the current financial year.

VHCL is the largest producer of high performance compounded recycled plastic granules which are utilised for various end use markets. The granules are designed to enhance the performance of its end use products, while helping reduce cost - keeping in line with reuse of unwanted plastic scrap. “Our products are helpful in reducing the carbon footprint for its application products, keeping in line with the global focus on climate control,” said VHCL in a press release.
