LS Polls 2014: Mulayam Singh Yadav files nomination from Azamgarh

Azamgarh, April 22 (ANI): Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav on Tuesday filed his nomination papers from the Azamgarh Lok Sabha constituency. The SP chief will contest from Azamgarh parliamentary seat along with his traditional Mainpuri seat. Mulayam's decision to contest from Azamgarh is being viewed as a tactic to counter BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi's effect in the eastern part of Uttar Pradesh. The Gujarat Chief Minister has announced his candidature from Varanasi.
