Voting underway smoothly, necessary security measures in place: Umesh Sinha

Lucknow, April 17 (ANI): Talking about the fifth phase of polls which are underway in politically important state of Uttar Pradesh along with other states, Chief Electoral Officer Umesh Sinha said that the polling is underway smoothly. He said that all security and other measures are taken up for the polls to carry on smoothly and without any obstruction. Sinha said that the officials are monitoring everything and are addressing every issue as are coming up. The state's chief electoral officer also described other arrangements taken up for the polls.
