Multiple Oscar winning film 'Slumdog Millionaire's child star Rubina Ali is continuing on the road to stardom as she landed a role in a commercial with Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman.
The beverage advertisement which also stars actor Arjun Rampal and is directed by Shekhar Kapur, was recently shot in Udaipur in India.
The eight-year-old Rubina was plucked from the slums of Mumbai to star in Danny Boyle's film and her father hopes that her rising profile could lead to a better life for the family, Contactmusic reported.
"We are very proud of her and hope she continues to become a big star. Maybe then we will be able to live in a proper house. She was paid more for the ad than the movie," Rafiq Ali, Rubina's father said.
