The new car features a new engine and upgrades. The powerplant is a six-litre AM29 V12 engine that churns out 510 PS of power. The car can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 4.6 seconds and can attain a top speed of 306 kmph.
The front grille of the car is bigger and it features new DRL lamps. The car also comes with a new infotainment system, which emerges from the central console when called out. The Aston Martin Rapide also has dual pre-tensioning seat belts, load limiting technology for all four passengers and eight airbags.
According to Neil Slade, general manager, Aston Matin, Middle East and North Africa, India is a strategically important market for the carmaker. "Aston Martin has been very responsive to the demands of the Indian consumers and have therefore launched the new Rapide especially for India," he added
