After being a success with sugar factories in Maharashtra and other states, the machine is now set for an entry into the world markets, targeting African and South-East Asian regions, said Shrikant Vaidya, director, Aditya Auto Test.
Brand-named Hydrabale, the machine has a capacity of 200 tonne a day, with two stations and bails 8 to 10 tonne of fresh bagasse an hour at 40 hp, Vaidya said, adding that the capacity of the machine is double that of the conventional machines that are unsafe besides being cumbersome operationally.
Vaidya said the cost difference (Rs 8 lakh as compared to Rs 3 lakh for the conventional machines) can be recovered by sugar factories over a very short period through better efficiency of Hydrabale.
He informed that the company has so far sold 35 units of Hydrabale to sugar factories, including four units to Neopan Debal Company of Tehran in Iran.
"This success has encouraged us to look for opportunities in the world market. We will soon appoint a sales representative office in Kenya and also plan representative offices in the South-East Asian region, principally Malaysia," he elaborated.
Vaidya said the machine has recently won an Indian patent, which underlines its uniqueness and efficiency and promises to be a stamp of acceptance.
He added that the manufacturing activity of making Hydrabale will soon be hived off into a separate unit, Shree Techniques, and Aditya Auto Test will remain as a automotive components business.
He added that the turnover of the company during the last financial year was Rs 4 crore and is expected to grow significantly with the commencement of exports.
