Anshu Budhraja, vice-president (south), Amway India, said, "We would open five new offices in Kerala where customers can pick up our products. Each office will be built with an investment ranging between Rs 5 and Rs 10 lakh. This apart, the home delivery expansion will include more towns in the state."

The company currently has five offices in the state. Kerala contributes Rs 50 crore to the annual turnover of the company.

Raj Kumar, area manager (Kerala), Amway India, said, "Kerala is one of the top five markets for Amway India. The business growth in the state has necessitated new offices and we are confident that Kerala will emerge as one among the top three markets for us." Amway paid Rs 5.67 crore towards sales tax to the state exchequer in the 2007-08 fiscal.

The company closed the last fiscal with a turnover of Rs 800 crore, a growth of 9 per cent over the previous year. "We expect our turnover to touch Rs 1,000 crore during the current fiscal, which is also our 10th anniversary year," he added.

The company on Tuesday unveiled a range of products under the 'Great Value Products' tag that comprised coconut oil, amla hair oil, shaving cream, hair cream and disposable razors. The products are priced between Rs 10 and Rs 75.
