Anheuser-Busch buys remaining stake in Crow Beer

"The Indian beer industry continues to grow at a rapid pace and acquiring the remaining 50 percent of the Crown Beers joint venture reaffirms Anheuser-Busch's commitment to being a key player in this emerging beer market," Anheuser-Busch International President and CEO Tom Santel said in a statement.     

Terms of agreement were not disclosed.     

The JV between Anheuser and Crown launched Budweiser and Armstrong brand in India.     

Now, Anheuser-Busch would continue to brew and distribute Budweiser and Armstrong, he said.
