In yet another senior-level exit from Infosys, the Global Sales Head - BPO, Energy/ Utilities/ Services Industry, Kartik Jayaraman, has quit the company, sources told Business Standard.

Infosys refused to comment on the development. “We do not discuss the entry and exit of our employees beyond our senior management,” an Infosys spokesperson said in reply to an email query.

This is the second high-level exit at Infosys BPO over the last one month. Earlier this month, Humberto Andrade, head of the company’s Latin America BPO had quit the company to join rival Capgemini as vice president and engagement executive.

As per Jayaraman's profile on professional networking website LinkedIn, he has joined Infosys' competitor Accenture as a Managing Director. According to the profile, Jayaraman has earlier been the Country Head – BPO at Infosys Technologies Australia & New Zealand Pty Limited, and Head-BPO, Emerging Markets – Australasia and Middle East.

Infosys, which has been attempting a turnaround after the return of N R Narayana Murthy as executive chairman, has seen a slew of exits in the recent past. Among others, Ashok Vemuri, head of operations (Americas) and global head (manufacturing and engineering services), had resigned in August, and the company's global head (sales & marketing) Basab Pradhan had quit in July.
