Healthcare major Apollo Hospitals today reported 12.53% rise in its net profit at Rs 55.76 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2011 over the same period previous fiscal.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 49.55 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2010 Apollo Hospitals Enterprise said in a filing to BSE.
Total income of the company stood at Rs 699.75 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2011 as against Rs 586.40 crore for the corresponding period last fiscal.
Revenues from the healthcare services segment stood at Rs 491.46 crore during the quarter, as against Rs 420.40 crore in the year ago period.
Scrips of Apollo Hospitals today closed at Rs 537.05 per share on BSE, up 0.85% from its previous close.
